A great location, natural beauty all around. Away from husttle and bustle which I prefer. Refreshed my mind, body and soul. Food was fabulous and people just fantastic. Would certainly come back one day.
I stayed here for a friend's wedding. It's a lovely place, lovely grounds and great ambiance. The staff were polite, courteous and efficient. The room was spacious and spotless. I arrived very very late (in the middle of the night). It was not a problem.
Just Perfect Just back home from a wonderful weekend in Hotel Minella with our hillwalking club. There were so many positives about our stay including the quality of the rooms, the standard of the dinners and the facilities in the leisure centre. Best of all were the friendliness of the staff, especially Liz, the coffee and cakes when we arrived back from the mountains and the excellent breakfasts. I have rarely seen so many attentive staff at a buffet breakfast ensuring that everything was kept topped up and that there were no bottlenecks. The quality of all the food was particularly good and a very nice touch was the identification of all the local Tipperary suppliers involved. Before leaving I picked up a usefull guide produced by the Tipperary Food Producers Network and hopefully will be able to source some of their products in Dublin. Liam Glen Walk Hikers
I stayed at your hotel from October 20 to 25 and had a wonderful stay. The room, amenities, service and food were all excellent. I would like to specially recognize the front desk staff who checked me in – very welcoming and efficient – meant a lot considering I had traveled internationally for about 20 hours and looked forward to some rest. The staff at breakfast (Jack and Galina) and at the bar (Karol and Eliyana) were also exceptional – courteous, made excellent food and wine suggestions and attentive during the entire meal. The hotel is a nice property but the staff makes it even better. Please pass on a big thank you to the front staff who checked me around 1 p.m. on October 20 and the breakfast/bar staff noted above. We had a wonderful stay in Hotel Minella and Clonmel over the weekend. As a family of 5, we made some great memories. Who knew how much Clonmel had to offer? We spent a day cycling on the Blue Way (bikes hired from Tom and brought to the hotel for us). We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We also took your advice and went to the recently refurbished/opened Tipperary County Museum in Clonmel. The kids loved learning a little bit of history and seeing some old devices. The old telephone was a highlight for my daughter. We also travelled along some of the stunning Commeragh Way and saw some amazing scenery.
Everything about the hotel and Clonmel was easy. Staying in a hotel that's family-owned is unbeatable. It made the stay even more special and having Bobo and Mop (your two very well socialised dogs) there was great for us all. Again, the kids loved the dogs and being able to pet them.
Thank you for your parting gifts and we look forward to returning to Hotel Minella someday. Adrienne Co. Wicklow
